  1. Hello Carlos, I am biomimic in training very interested in attending. Is there a tentative agenda or explanation of how we’ll be primarily spending time. Is it only at the lake station area?

Thank you so much, I really appreciate what you are doing.

    • Hello Chris,

We are preparing the agenda and sharing the info soon. We will basically repeat the format from last year, which starts on Saturday with lunch and introductions, followed by brief presentations about the subject we will discuss/work on. This year the subject is launching the “Alberta Genius of Place” project. The rest of the day will be dedicated to work in groups, preferably outdoors, and then debrief, dinner time, break-out session and after dinner social time. Sunday starts with similar activities after breakfast, wrap-up session and lunch. All the activities are at the Barrier Lake Station. Hope you joins us. Cheers.

  2. Hey Carlos,
I stumbled across this group on Facebook, and I am interested in attending the event. However I am quite new to the scene of biomimicry, and curious if it will be a workshop for learning about biomimicry, or if you are expected to have previous knowledge and it will be more based on the application of it towards this “genius of place project”? Also are there any ride arrangements?
Cheers and thanks for your time,

    • Hi Meaghann,

Many people attending the workshop has no background or knowledge in biomimicry, and there’s no such requirement to be part of it. While the GoP project will be the theme for our workshop, the workshop will also work as an introduction to biomimicry for those who are new to this emerging discipline. So, you are very welcome to join us.

      Hope we meet soon.

  3. Hello! Thanks so much for organizing this workshop. I submitted my registration for this workshop last week. Is there a way to find out if my registration is confirmed?
